Life Changing Gave up smoking, This stopped most Of the drinking too, Thought that life Would change, Thought I wouldn't Feel so blue. There are perceptible Changes and things That differ now I have begun to remember stuff, Smells and feelings But more rows, Thus the atmosphere And light... Perfumes smelling Bright, lights to Past concessions, Taste of food & Short confessions a Personal lingering youth And pain of broken tooth Hot shame and strange stains Belief, spaceman, astronaut Intelligent rational thought, I was a star, thought I'd have a car, Bigger house Certainly not... Living hand to mouth I gave up smoking.
