Valentine 2006

Helen

You are my pride
You are my joy
You make me laugh
When alls aboard

You are my trouble
You are my strife
You make me cry
You are my life

I love you like I’ve
Loved no other
My true best Friend
My babies Mother

You are my World
Your love is fine
You are my Girl
My Valentine

We Will Wed today

We will wed today

We didn’t know where we were heading
We hadn’t thought about our lives
There really wasn’t any knowing
Who we’d marry or where in life we’d lie

Then we met us one another
A newer one person, one person happy times
Our new adventure with one another
Every Christmas love each others mince pies

Food and wine, beer, some cool culture and travel
Broadsheets of interest rule our reading
Without the paper news to crease and unravel
Our souls are growing together feeding

We’ll wed today to show all you nice people
We’ll wed today together, just girl and boy
We’ll live together forever, heaping sugar and a leaping
Up and down with tears of joy.

My Boy Tbone

My Boy T-Bone

My baby smelt of pork chops
when he came out alive.
Pulled from his living tomb,
with blood guts bones and chives.
His blue skin was set alight there
by the pressured oxygen tank,
and cooked back into pink meat,
the mid-chef was to thank.
T-bone steak or pork chop
will be his new found name,
after mummy here is stitched up
by the butchers ‘Backslap & Mame’.

Ok You

Ok you

Ok you
I’m watching you
I can see all the
Moves you make

You’ll see
You feel threatened by me
I can see you are on the take

Us three
That him you and me
We’ll have just a little talk

Then three will be 2
And all I can do c’mon
Maverick lets shake and bake.

Lovely Baby Sheep

Lovely Baby Sheep
Look if you could use it,
I know you that you would,
the little pocket in your dungarees,
what on earth would you put in it.
Maybe the wool and the fluffly little clouds,
just keep them in there and shout it aloud,
with no malice or no rage
That I love mummy and daddy
At my tender age...
Look at me then sleep,
cos its not a bad life,
if you just keep our
love in your pocket,
and keep storing the sheep.

My life as a Priest

My life as a priest

My life as a priest
as I approached the feast
was warm soft and tender
till I met the sender :(
Your time was appreciated :D
down here in my homestead
with church and a dining room
your rosy cheeks bloomed :P

now you really want to know
why you didnt go
to the banquet of lies
you can see it in my eyes.

Will it Rain

Will it Rain

Helen and Richard
sitting in a pub
holding the baby
and flowing with love
when along came a raincloud with
puffy dark eyes who
thundered and poured tears
grey brimming from dark skies.
they pickup up young oz
and ran for the park,
for warmth and for shelter,
the car was not far.

Coffee and Mints in the High Street

Coffee and Mints In the High Street

The last time I saw that figure
Walking along the front of the shop,
It was last Thursday afternoon.
The water drizzled so laboriously
Down the window pane,
I was unable to see clearly
The rain coat and distinctive
‘After Eight’ umbrella, swinging,
and ringing off the wet,
singing positively too close to
the oncoming pedestrians.
Now it became clearer
the After Eight was, for me,
not quite the after dinner
Experience I had sought after.

It was time to act this fine
Early Friday evening and it was
Time to act now. It was only
Personal curiosity that took me
Outside to try to see what this
Creature was, or should I say,
Who it was. Who could represent
Themselves in this manner.
Who could show themselves
To be so timid in society
To hide themselves from me
With an After Eight umbrella.
I was determined to see the face
Of this minty shambles and
I was determined to see how
Many peoples eyes it could
Gouge out with its brolly.

Today, a fine and sunny one,
A pleasure in afternoon coffee
And a stare at the world
Going by me. In their
Prams and wheel chairs,
The sticks and the trainers,
The Hush Puppies and the
Clarkes, the sneakers, the runners
The straight and the funky.
Fair play to the downright kinky
Footwear and the odours
People share when walking
Past the shop and the pub
The market and the
Hub bub by the bus stop.
Some in triplicate, some not,
Some have real ideas and
Some are just clots, but I
Can see them all today walking
Past the tea and the coffee shop.

The coffee paid for a hop
Skip and a jump through the door
Was the last I remember
of the tea rooms, as I stared into
spaces and corners, around shoppers
and the fawners, the local Mafioso,
the kids around Mc’Donalds,
the old ladies in the market
by the wool store buying lockets,
Sitting over buckets.
The fancy young trollops
At the benches, with the Kev’s and
the Trev’s with fluffy tashes
There are who are disturbed,
some wholly mesmerised
old perv’s. The it or whoever
it was, it was gone in a flash,
the precursor to a ghostly Nemesis,
Banished to the derelicts.

A Girl in Harrods

A Girl In Harrods

Dressed in black and with a donkey face
That is kind and interesting, I’d have to give chase.
Where has she gone in the store of some dreams,
Look! Labels of love and pretentious grand grace.
There are people all around with suspicious eyes,
In uniforms of work, there is no time to shirk,
What am I doing in the centre stage, trade and conspicuous,
Look left, then right, look forward, a triangle of surveillance.
She’s there!, In a muse, Oh what dress to choose?
I relieve myself of the search, lean on the first
Resting place in awe, looking for her door
As she leaves in a race, full of customers pace.
Of times that go by in the witching hours chime,
She grows in a dreams continuum, through a moment of love,
Though she doesn’t know in her unsuspecting ignorance.
Yet I cannot follow no more, no more of the dance,
Around the shop did I prance, a Swan lake prance,
Infatuation and wonder.
I shall never see her again,
I kick myself in shame.
I should have spoken,
but what do you say.
There will be a chance one day.

Crazy House

Crazy House (Song)
Capo on 4th
Found it on way I said I found it today
When I was striding along I said my stride was long
I saw a glint on the ground was the thing that I found
It was a shining at me like some jewellery

G C<<

Said I found it on my way I said I found it today
Sitting right at my feet something that I could keep
Was a funny little thing I felt like I was a king
It started jumping around this little thing that I found

G
I span around around I thought my mind was bound
C<<
For the for dizzy house and all maddening sounds
C
And all the silly clowns who shake and make a sound
C<<
Then make the rain come down and soak their crazy town

I saw the sun come break through out of the lazy clouds
And lift me far up high into the blazing house
The lunatics they all fell into fits
All in the public zoo to see what I could do….

G C<< C C<< C G
What I could do……..what I can do………what can I do?

A Bouncing Ball

The day is done
My time is young
Everlasting kingdom come
A bouncing ball
The trees too tall
But short enough to have some fun.
